I am a book nerd through and through. From the moment I read my first book by myself (Green Eggs and Ham, thankyouverymuch), I have been obsessed with the art of storytelling in all its forms.

I loved it so much that I got a BA in English and a teaching credential so I could teach others how to love stories as well. You can guess how well that went (I taught Freshmen and Sophomores). While teaching didn’t wind up being a lifelong career for me, I’m so grateful for the experience I gained.

When I became pregnant with my firstborn, I decided to stay home with him. I had always loved to read, but during those early postpartum days, I became insatiable.

Eventually, I decided to tell my own story. Like Home, my debut novel, was born amongst the haze of early motherhood. After getting pregnant with my second child, I was too tired to think about writing, so I set the story down. Even so, the characters kept bugging me. They wouldn't get out of my head.

In early 2024, I began an Instagram profile just for books. I was encouraged by my followers to finish the story and see where it went. Over the course of a couple of months, I finished the first draft and started my indie authoring journey. Now I am the proud author of two books: Like Home and my newest release, Ghosted.
